Saturday
Included in the cost of the week's course: - Accommodation, breakfast and dinner, including apertivi, except for Friday's dinner - Transport when in Italy . NB Guests should arrange their own flights to and from Pisa and arrange their own insurance.
The cost of a week's course is £890.- with a £200.- deposit to be paid to confirm the booking.
Saturday
- Pick-up at Pisa airport between 11am and 2pm.
- Light lunch/afternoon snack.
- Settling in at the Villa in Bagni di Lucca
- Aperitivo and introductory talk
- Welcome dinner at the villa
- Breakfast
- 9.30am – 12.30pm - Art OR Italian language workshop
- 1pm - Lunch at the villa
- A free afternoon to relax / explore the village
- An Aperitivo talk on the opera at the Villa
- Dinner
- Breakfast at the Villa
- Music workshop
- 10.30 - Coffee
- 11.00 – Art OR Italian language workshop
- 1.00 – Lunch;
- Free time / optional visit to the Terme
- Aperitivo and dinner at the Villa
- Breakfast at the Villa
- Music/drama workshop
- Transport to the village of Montecarlo with it's breath taking views over the Lucchese plain
- Opportunity to sketch OR engage in Italian conversation
- Lunch at the Pizzeria in Montecarlo
- Visit the Fattoria, Buon Amico for a guided tour and wine/olive oil tasting
- Return to Bagni di Lucca for an aperitivo and dinner
- Breakfast at the Villa
- Excursion: the whole group will go to Firenze by train. (You can buy a snack or a more formal lunch when you are there)
- Sightseeing in Firenze and opportunity to chat in Italian
- Late afternoon train back
- Aperitivo at the Villa
- Dinner at a local restaurant
- Breakfast at the Villa
- 9.30 - Music/drama workshop
- 10.30 - Coffee
- 11.00 - Art OR ltalian language workshop

- Tuscan cookery demonstration
- Guests will have the opportunity to prepare and then eat dinner

- Transport to the beautiful walled city of Lucca, with its duomo, piazzas, Puccini museum, churches and shops.
- Opportunities for sketching OR engaging in Italian conversation

- Transport to Torre del Lago
- Boat trip, visit to Puccini's house
- Dinner on the lake
- Opera at the open air theatre
- Breakfast at the Villa
- Transport to Pisa airport between 9am and 1pm.
- Those with late flights may leave their bags at the airport and take a (very short) taxi ride to Pisa for sightseeing.
